What a great Thanksgiving weekend! I was lucky enough to see family who came in from out of town. We celebrated the coming of a new addition to the extend family. And I even walked away from the computer for awhile and talked with Norm. For me the long weekend was about being thankful for my loving family and amazing friends…
Not being one for crowds, I tend to avoid the malls or large grocery stores during the biggest shopping weekend of the year. I am, however, fascinated by how quickly we go from the dark, the brown, and the bareness of the end fall to the colorful, the lovingness, and the energy of the holidays! Part of the festivities with the out-of-towners was going to Frankenmuth, one of the top five Christmas spots in the USA. And, I did it the Saturday after Thanksgiving! (Shows how much I love my Aunt and Uncle.) We had a wonderful time!
Here are some pictures captivating the spirit of the season.
